A Call To Arms!

A Call To Arms!

Dear Saints, those who have had accepted the gift from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the remission of our sins, through which we are welcomed back into fellowship with our Abba Father, it is time to prepare, prepare for war!

We do not battle against our brothers and sisters, but against the kingdom of darkness. We must battle against the spiritual forces of the enemy, the devil.

Ephesians 6:12  states: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”(KJV)

Do not be fooled, this is spiritual hand-to-hand battle and we must be prepared to fight day in and day out until our time here on Earth is finished.

Fear Not! We fight from a position of Victory! The battle belongs to the Lord, and has already been won. We must do our part and be willing to follow God’s will for our life. God’s desire is to have all of His children return to Him and spend forever in His presence.

It is a choice! God gave us free will, therefore it is up to us to either choose life or death. We choose life by accepting the gift of salvation that He has offered us through the death of His one and only Son, Jesus, on the cross. We choose death when we reject the gift that is offered.

Thankfully God is merciful and gives us time to choose, but the the time given is not limitless. Our time here on this earth is short, and no one knows the span that they have to live before it must end.

Once we have made our choice to accept Him as our Lord and Savior, then our task is to grow in the knowledge that He has provided us through the Bible and help bring others into His Kingdom through the sharing of His Good News.

To God be the Glory and let us praise His Name forever!

More to follow…

Favorite Authors

I was looking at my bookshelf today and decided it was time to share some of my favorites… authors and stories.

First author to mention, Brad Thor. 19 books released and I have read them all at least twice, some more than that. His 20th book to be released 6/23/2020… just found it listed and added it to my Amazon Wishlist. His first, The Lions of Lucerne, I have read at least six times.

Second author to mention, Clay Harvey. I have read three of his books, at least four times each. I found his book , A Flash of Red, as a used library book being sold online and fell in love with his stories. I went searching and found A Whisper of Black and later Dwelling in the Gray. I find myself drawn back to them when I am lacking a new book to read.

Third author to mention, Lee Child. Jack Reacher. So many books, so little time. I would love to see more of his books made into movies… although I would have chosen someone who matched the description given in the books closer, but that is my opinion.

Fourth author to mention, Vince Flynn. RIP, Vince. Thank you Kyle Mills for picking up the torch and continuing Mitch Rapp’s story. I have worn more than a couple of Vince’s books out from all of the reading that I have had done.

Thank you to all of these and so many more authors who have provided years of escape and have sparked the desire to write my own stories. I salute you, one and all. My goal is to be on someone’s favorite author list before I am finished…

Podcast Intro

Here is the Intro to my 1st Podcast.

“Hello, my name is MJ Hague. Thank you for taking the time and effort to check out my latest project. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did creating it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any comments or suggestions for future installments. Now onto the show.…”

CALL ME GHOST BLURB

Call Me Ghost, is a military thriller where trust is broken, brother is pitted against brother and two brothers are given the task to right the wrong caused by the actions of another brother, who during a fight kills their team leader. Both brothers have different ideas on how best to resolve the conflict. One brother wants to resolve it within the confines of the law, while the other brother’s idea of justice is more of an eye for an eye. Each brother will have to decide how far they are willing to go and they will have to live with the consequences of their own actions… knowing that their decisions will change their lives, forever! Call Me Ghost, is a story filled with action from the start that does not let you catch your breath easily and holds the accelerator down to the floor the whole time. A cliff-hanger ending sets the stage for MJ Hague’s second book, leaving the reader crying out for more! Coffee lovers will love it. Funny, action packed, and with enough killing to encourage the readers not to become too invested in the characters as they might not last the chapter…just sayin’.
